Gate Foundation Exhibition Contemporary Indian Art

In 1966 The Indian artist village Cholomandal was founded by the artist K. Jayal Panicker, and has grown since. Now, it contains a guesthouse for foreign artists and students, a gallery and open air theatre. The village balances collectivism and individualism and offers artists a basis to grow and develop her/his own concepts of art.

Gate Foundation works with Visualspace to develop a catalogue and posters for the first major show on contemporary Indian art in The Netherlands featuring the works of P. Gopinath, RM Palaniappan, S. Nandagopal and K. Jayal Panicker.
